Atlassian has made the Confluence sidebar (content tree) and top navigation visible while editing! You now have access to the same editing capabilities, but with the additional context provided by the content tree and the top navigation menu. It is not quite clear why Atlassian Community is merging the two Confluence communities, but at the end of March there will just be one Confluence community.
