Ideal candidate is communicative and enjoys being a part of crafting solutions to a variety of problems. Experience and/or understanding of architecture and best-practices is optimal.

This candidate will either be a part of a platform focused team focused on architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps of our client´s cloud SaaS or experience focused team where the individual will collaborate with app developers to realize business or user-facing requirements.

Base requirements:

  • Experience realizing a variety of needs in a cloud SaaS context. Our client rely on Ruby at the moment for core business logic.
  • SaaS architecture
  • Data modeling
  • REST APIs
  • SQL
  • Ruby

Role specific requirements:
  • Leading or participating in architectural discussions
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and the functionality it provides Querying relational databases with GraphQL.
  • Specifically utilize Postgraphile on top of PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/ELK for monitoring, understanding and visualizing data in production environments
  • Experience with Docker / containerized environments AWS, Aptible etc.
  • Experience with writing efficient, reliable and well-tested code
  • Process automation
