We are looking for a strong fullstack software engineer with DevOps skills.

The role is to support clients develpment teams in release processes.

Please, note that this is a Senior Software enigneer role (Java/Scala) and DevOps skills should be seen as a bonus.
Key qualities:

• Full Stack engineer with Java experience in large scale and distributed projects, Scala preferred - i.e. working with Databases, Caching, Messaging Queues

• Python/Shell experience, or similar

• Personality and culture fit to be a Lead/DRI of a large project

• Deep Linux experience - SRE/Performance Engineering experience a plus => Operational mindset is sufficient

• Sufficient MacOS experience - i.e. Installers, iOS apps => would make for a larger contribution to our Infrastructure efforts

• Self starter and ability to navigate ambiguity

Nice to have:

• UI and Scala experience

• Big Data experience (Hadoop/Spark)

• MacOS development experience (iOS development, Swift development, Code Signing)

• Operational/SRE experience - Splunk, JVM Monitoring, etc.

Additionally:

Redis is a keyword that is client's primary backend currently

• Operational Experience is a plus: Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Sentry, ELK, etc.)

• Hands on DevOps experience is a nice to have (Gradle, Kubernetes, Docker), ideally one has used the tooling in their Software Development work day to day

Duration: 6 months + option
Work location: Malmö, Sweden
Requirements: Min. 5 years of professional IT experience.
