Data residency is coming to Forge! Update your apps to benefit and avoid performance impacts

This week, we’re wrapping up a staged rollout of data residency for Forge hosted storage. This represents an important milestone toward supporting developers in building enterprise-grade apps and customizations using our Forge platform. It also means you’ll have more flexibility to customize your instance with applications that meet your data residency needs.

With data residency available in all Atlassian-supported regions for Forge hosted storage, it’s now easier than ever for developers to build apps with data residency built in. While traditionally, developers would need to update their own infrastructure and systems to support realm pinning and migration, Atlassian now takes care of the heavy lifting for any data in Forge-hosted storage.
