    Project Summary

    Employer: Brightstep

    Client: Stadium

    Industry: Ecommerce, Sports

    Assignment:

Me and Mauro was tasked to go over the requirements to ensure they were properly understood and defined. The original requirements were loosely defined and as we went over them with Stadium we could identify the need properly and match it towards technical solutions. This ensured the need was possible to implement and that we could find and manage requirements that not yet been expressed.

    Technique/Method: Requirement analysis, Workshop, Confluence

Customer Value: We provided a proper requirement analysis where we defined and estimated the need. This allowed for a smooth implemenentation. It also led to the fact that we identified a mismatch in the time required so we could adjust the expectations in both time and cost ahead of the project.

It also gave Stadium the confidence to change their project purchases after the project was concluded. instead of fixed price projects they move to time and material. This was due to a combination of undertstanding the value of the requirement process and the training provided by us.

The design for Stadium was done by a design agency, but I was asked to do the design for the Checkout and My Pages. Based on the overall design I created the design for these sections according to the best practices and personal experiences I had regarding design for conversion (CRO). After the project I did a second round of optimizations based on findings since the first design. This was specially requested by Stadium and I did it on top of my normal work because of this.

My assignment was to review and build a new work process with JIRA & Confluence as tools for the development efforts at Axfood. Based on the SAFE agile process with practical experience in making projects actually become a reality I built a process that was custom-made for Axfood and their specific challenges.
