    Technology company Smilehouse and Swedish
Brightstep to combine their hybris expertise resources

As a result of a partnership contract between Finnish Smilehouse and Swedish
Brightstep, together the companies will form the Nordic countries' largest
service provider specialising in multichannel commerce and the implementation
    of product information management solutions.

Behind the decision to combine hybris resources is the companies' will to ensure the markets' best and widest selection of skill resources for projects constructing multichannel commerce, product information management, online retail & b2b solutions and eServices concepts for leading companies in the Nordic countries.

    – Both companies have a very similar position in Finland and Sweden as leading highend providers of group solutions. Our combined resources and the active and close support role played by our shared technology partner Hybris Software in quality assurance and in providing global localised support make us the strongest solution provider in our field in the Nordic countries, says Smilehouse managing director Jaakko Hartikainen of the companies' partnership agreement.

The companies' customers are leading operators in their respective fields from Finland, Sweden and Norway, such as Nikon, Elkjöp/Gigantti, Kesko, Stadium, Clas Ohlson, BikBok, the Sanoma Group, Seppälä, Indiska, Axfood, the Tokmanni Group, Iittala, Ruukki, Finlayson, Itella, The Body Shop, InkClub, Orion, Tamro, Metsä Group, Reima and Nanso Group.

    – Smilehouse has lots of experience with retail and providing the industry and wholesaler industries with b2b solutions. Brightstep, on the other hand, has a long background in the design, implementation and further development of global projects. Thanks to the combination of our resources, we are not only able to guarantee better resources, but also to combine our skills and experience in various sectors. No-one else in the Nordic countries is able to offer an equivalent level of skills, experience and technology, so I couldn't be happier with our common view, adds Mattias Pihlström,

    managing director at Brightstep.

Smilehouse and Brightstep are both international representatives of hybris technology. Hybris Software is the fastest growing international software platform, evaluated by international consulting firms such as Forrester, Gartner and Ventana as one of the top-3-technologies for both product information management and multichannel

commerce. The technology is utilised worldwide by e.g., Adidas, Nikon, Spar, Procter & Gamble, Migros, SCA, Daimler, Bridgestone, Hutchison 3G, Henkel and Ericsson.
