About the team and project The team’s mission is to build and maintain the technical platform for a web-based system where our customers around the globe can run, manage, understand and grow their business. The platform is running on AWS, fetches data from a bunch of microservices, and allows other developments teams within the company to deploy web components in a standardized way. Today, this platform team consists of 5 web developers, 2 designer and a product owner.
The team is currently working on a very exciting project in which we’re migrating into a micro-frontend architecture built with React, to improve performance, scalability and user experience. At the same time, the team is also preparing for upcoming unification and integration between other systems and services within the company. In this work, the team would like to bring in a senior test automation engineer to drive quality initiatives, unify QA guidelines for our code repositories and take ownership of the implementation and rollout of new tools and best practices for automated tests.
Required skills We are looking for a senior test automation engineer who has:
Experience with automated UI testing, performance testing and end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress and/or TestCafe;
Knowledge of build tools and CI/CD environments such as CircleCI;
Strong skills within browser specific tools / DevTools;
Deep understanding about web performance, security and scalability;
Great communication skills to be able to onboard and mentor other QA engineers and developers in best practices for automated tests.
