We are looking for and experienced Information Modeler for one our great clients withing the construction industry in Stockholm. You will work with modeling of new and lifecycle mgmt. of information models but also actively participate in established information governance as needed.
A part of the work will be conducted in a function "Information Management" and the rest will be in selected IT development projects.


What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret information needs and capture, validate and process the requirements and create/change information models and ensure they are understandable.
  • Maintain information models in terms of quality, lifecycle status and coordinate information modeling across Information Groups and projects/activities.
  • Communicate the why, what, how of information modeling and information models to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the guidelines for information modeling (processes, templates, documentation, rules etc.).
  • Participate in Information Management Committee.
  • On request, participate in Information Management Board.

Responsibilities
  • Information models, definitions and relations within Information Group.
  • Lifecycle of information models as well as the current state and quality of each information model and the connections in between.
  • Formulation and communication of the business value of information modeling.
  • Develop and maintain the guidelines for information modeling

Skills needed
  • English
  • Academic degree in IT
  • 5-7 years of experience in information modelling or at least 50-100 information models
  • A plus is experience of the construction business
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Sparx is merited
