We are looking for an experienced Android engineer to join our clients team. The team owns, develops and maintains the clients Android app, which is available in 37 markets worldwide.

You:

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Android app development and technologies such as RxJava, Firebase, Gradle, Grafana and Git

• Value shipping small incremental code changes to production frequently, rather than spending time on the perfect solution

• Are comfortable going outside of the Android code base to get stuff done. Experience in C++ or backend development on the JVM is a big plus.

• Have a quality first mindset. Experience with mobile app test automation frameworks is a plus

• Have experience with agile software development practices and is comfortable facilitating continuous improvement work in the team

What you’ll do:

• Product development, maintenance and bug fixes

• Performance improvements to keep the Lite app best-in-class in terms of performance, data consumption and device resource usage

How you will be doing it:

• As a part of an inclusive, autonomous and cross-functional agile team that employs continuous delivery and quick feedback loops

• Collaborate with other software engineers across the company
