We are looking for a Senior Developer with deep knowledge and experience in Python development and architecture, for our client within the financial industry in Stockholm.

You will be a part of our clients journey to develop their new fund calculation and reporting system.

What you will do:

• Support and coach the team in their Python coding capabilities

• Create and develop a data model and system architecture to maximize the efficiency of data collation, enrichment and transformation

• Transform business specification into solutions in the new calculation engine

• Develop and design new data deliveries to support new reporting requirements and calculations pertaining to the Asset Management industry, especially funds

• Specify and build new internal analysis models

Specify and develop new data interfaces

• Designing and build new elements in the database

• Handling/resolving problems and errors in the production team

Who you are?

• You have strong programming skills

• Have at least 5 years’ experience of Python programming & architecture in an environment with concepts such as:

• Pandas NumPy/Matplotlib

• Unit testing with PyTest or similar

• SQLAlchemy or similar

• CI/CD with Bitbucket and Bamboo or similar concepts

• Airflow or similar

You are also expected to have worked with MS SQL Server, Microsoft Office skills and MS Excel in particular
Proficiency in English as well as a Nordic language is required

Experience of the financial industry is an advantage
