You will be responsible of a team of around 20 people, mostly developers but also two technical product owners. Location: Stockholm but remote at the moment. Position: You’re responsible for driving both the product development and its delivery through focusing on creating great teams together with a focus on delivering great game client components. You’re bi-lingual in business and technology. You steer and guide the teams towards our vision and goals, tune the team to perform on its’ highest level, recruit and retain the right team members and you’re a true role model for our culture, core values and brand. Focus Areas with Key Responsibilities: People: Develop leadership team – Actively working to develop strong leaders, an effective management team through regular 1on1s supporting and empowering all people within your organization Gemba walk – be aware & informed Ownership – make sure that everyone in your organization knows they own their products end to end and establish the ownership culture in the team and in the larger organization Process & Information flow: Governance structure – Follow and adapt current processes to our governance structure. Continuously improve it Process focus – Being proactive identifying, measuring, driving and inspiring improvements and new ways of working with a focus on automation of common tasks Communication– establish and improve communication between your team and the larger organization Business Thinking: Business focus– Have a clear business focus identifying business value of work performed and making sure all teams understand our vision, strategy, goals and business challenges Product thinking - through assessing Value, Viability, Focus, Evolution, Communication and Advocacy in all we do Partnerships: One games organization – Promote and ensure cross-cross studio and teams alignment with relevant stakeholders for operational and commercial matters with a focus on “inner sourcing” General Responsibilities as a Leader: Clear expectations – Making sure that expectations are clear on goals, tasks and behaviors with the team and team members Support and develop (teach) employees to take “wise decisions” which will lead to “Self-driven employees” and ensuring our Challenger Culture. Role model – Always represent the company in a professional and ethical manner in alignment with Core Values, our Vision, Strategies and Goals. Inclusive Leadership – Involve employees in planning, setting and achieving goals, tasks and assignment. Conduct meaningful regular MAP/1:1-meetings (weekly or biweekly) with each team member Financial planning and reporting (forecast, financial targets etc) Participate in manager meetings/forums as well as attending All Hands and other meetings & events arranged.
