For a well-known client in central Stockholm we are looking for a sharp Senior Group Financial Controller.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience from consolidation and accounting
Preferably worked with IFRS standards
Can consolidate and eliminate independently
Preferably experience from working at a bank/financial intitution
Must have taken ownership of and had responsibility for the consolidation
Preferably have experience in how to book minority interests
Have strong communications skills and be able to communicate in both English and Swedish
Ability to work independently with monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting
Strong system knowledge e.g. SAP FC or similar
Fast learner and likes teamwork
Tasks:
Can consolidate and eliminate independently, will contribute by ensuring we close the books with high quality by reviewing and supporting in the closing process together with other team members
Pro-actively support the organisation in consolidating and group reporting related questions, both reporting entities as well as HQ
Continuously work on improving processes to enhance the quality of financial reporting and support in updating instructions to the group
Support the subsidiaries in questions concerning consolidation system, reporting and accounting
Review reporting from the subsidiaries
Work with annual and interim reports
Detail-oriented but also see the bigger picture
