Our well-known, cool client is looking for a Data Scientists to join a team responsible for enabling the client´s users to pay for and access Premium products.

Your role is to turn terabytes of data into insights and get a deep understanding of the world of music and listeners. Together with the team you will study user behaviour, evaluate strategic initiatives and experiment with new features. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, user researchers, data engineers, product managers, designers and engineers who are passionate about our consumer experience across platforms and partners
  • Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights on user behaviour that will help drive product and design decisions
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders

Who you are:
  • You have multiple years of relevant experience, with a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or another quantitative discipline
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
  • You value building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms to enable decision making.
  • You know how to understand and solve loosely defined insight problems, come up with actionable insights to guide product development decisions
  • You have the competence to perform advanced analytics:
  • You have experience with online experimentation, specifically around experiment design, and creating re-usable frameworks for setup & analysis.
  • You have experience performing analysis with large datasets and QAing complex datasets, playing an advisory role in helping Engineers build new instrumentation/logging and datasets for analyst use.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting - ability to set up self-serve tools/dashboards to allow stakeholders to monitor data related to new launches, etc.
  • You have experience with the following Coding and Analytics tools: SQL (Bigquery), Python, Tableau, Github, Basic command line.)
  • You possess statistical competence (such as regression modelling, a/b testing, significance testing etc)
