As the design system keeps growing we need to assign a design system lead to ensure that the work is properly managed.

The design system is a crucial element for all teams to ensure consistency throughout the digital touch points and support design teams as well as dev teams to focus on the user problems instead of how things should look and behave.

The role of the design system lead is to align on needs and development across the product teams and ensure that the design system is developed accordingly to those.

The lead will direct and priorities the Design System teams work, consult with engineering and product on the direction and priorities according to the roadmap.

The lead will give direction on ways of working as well as tactical support to the design system development team and drive the overall adoption of the system across client's product teams.

Competence demands:
The role requires a senior experience designer with the ability to structure and priorities work.

The skills set should include knowledge about digital best practices as well as stakeholder management and project management.

The designer needs to have a deep understanding of design systems, their buildups and application areas.

Duration: 6 months +
Work location: Malmö or remote
Requirements: Min. 5 years of professional IT experience.
