Stumptown TV Show

The first episode was not bad and it could become a good series to follow.

The concept of a war veteran with some personal issues acting as a problem solver has potential. It has some humor and I like the potential of having a native american reservation part of the story.

Set in an alternate America where witches ended their persecution over 300 years ago by cutting a deal with the government to fight for their country, “Motherland: Fort Salem” follows three young women from basic training in combat magic into early deployment.
In this world, the traditional roles of gender and power are flipped, with the more dominant women on the front lines fighting looming terrorist threats that are familiar to our world—but with supernatural tactics and weapons.

The first episode of Evil did not really impress. It has potential, but it felt like a weak start of the series.
The characters have a foundation to build on for sure, but we did not get to explore that as much in the first episode. The story itself is a bit vague and it felt a bit rushed to be honest.
The acting is pretty good so it will be interesting to see what the next episode will hold.
      I give this a solid 6 out of 10.
