I think it's clear by now that the Final Assault did not live up to the hype. It's simply a matter of managing expectations, but it could have been done a bit different to make it a bit more exciting. Here is my take on what could have been done.
The final assault is the culmination of the season. It should close the story arc and make way for the new season. It should also tie into the activities around the vex invasions, such as the Black Garden. So the first part can stay pretty much the s
Doing a raid in Destiny 2 is still a very exclusive experience. The majority of players never experience is as the activity not only require six people, but also a lot of communication. Having good raid guides that have patience and the ability to guide people through a raid is invaluable. In the clan I belong to we have some great raid guides and it is one of the reasons I like it so much.
Being in a clan is not for everyone. I have tried a few before I found the one I am in now. If you ar
After attempting a few times to get past the first encounter solo and then getting some help getting through the Xenophage quest I ventured into the pit of heresy with 2 other players who had never done the pit before. Dakelabal was a bit on the low end on light levels and me and Excalibeard are both terrible at jumping. It was assumed it would be a few deaths and some frustration to get the pit done. The reality though was that it was actually pretty fun and not at all as difficult as assumed.
Yesterday I joined a team of awesomeness to do a Garden of Salvation run. It was my first attempt and despite good effort we did not manage to take down the boss at the end. We were a bit to tired and lacked firepower more than anything else I think. Still, I got a ton of boots and it was a fun experience overall.
I joined in with my Warlock as I have a slight passion for it at the moment. I used the void-nade setup for the first 2 encounters and then switched to the well in the third and f
Yesterday me, LordVektor and Furryl1zzard went through the pain of doing a Nighfall: The Ordeal at 980 difficulty. For me this was the last piece needed to complete the collection for this season, which is a requirement for the seal of Undying. The ordeal is quite appropriate for this activity as it took us hours to complete after much pain and suffering.
I have done 950 without feeling to bad about it, but climbing to 980 with the insane modifiers was not challenging. It was madness. Pret
Yesterday was a good day where I got most of the Vanguard steps done as well as a bit over half of the kills for Randy. I still have the last step for Vanguard, which is to get arc kills for the Timeless Vigil emblem. Since it's arc I will use my titan to get the 900 kills done quickly, especially since it's grenadier effect in strikes today!
The idea is simple: Use the insurmountable skullfort for unlimited shoulder charge and use Monte Carlo for the moments when you loose your melee. Comb
As I am starting to fall in love with my Warlock build I am actually looking at getting the Undying Seal. It sounds pretty neat and since I only have Wayfarer and the MMXIX Seal I have been wanting a new title. As it looks right now the steps are pretty easy and should be done in a week or so if I don't rush.
Final assault we don't know what it is, but I assume it should be doable to take down that bugger 3 times.
Offensive Expert just takes time. I got 60 kills with bows in o
Yesterday I got my ass kicked in Comp, so now I will be nasty going forward towards the 2100 goal to get the mountaintop. It's time to switch back to my old Titan and put all the nasty on it. You know what that means, don't you?
Yes, that is right. Bottom tree striker with one eyed mask. Truth or Hammerhead for heavy. Recluse or Lunas in energy. Austringer or Last word in Kinetic. Enhanced hand cannon targeting, Enhanced hand cannon loader, unflinching hand cannon aim, hand cannon dexterit
Today I did 3 games in comp before I gave up. It was a complete waste of time and Glory and I should have known better...I am down with a cold and should stay off comp until I get back on my feet. Still I wanted to get some extra points in for that 2100 points I need for mountaintop. Big mistake.
The first game was actually not that bad, but we lost pretty big in a shitty countdown that is almost impossible to win unless you have a full team. According to the stats we were 81% certain to lo
