We have all been in those interviews where the interviewer completely botch the interview. Weird IQ tests, being asked to do design or code on the fly or questions that are irrelevant to the work at hand. In this article I will list my five top interviewer tips for interviewers to land that awesome employee contract for a senior IT or design person. Tip #1 - You are the one that have to s

LinkedIn has recently announced some additions to their services that has been received with some skepticism. Pronouns Pronouns are heavily debated all over the world, even if it is mostly affecting lives of people in the US and Canada i

How this will affect the market is still too early to predict. It will depend on how well Knowit matches Creunas way of working and what support

Scrum Manager. Developing Architect. Fullstack Developer/Designer. The new roles are popping up left and right these days. Some are clearly just another way to say "generalist", but others are roles that have a very high chance of making people sick. Why do we see these ads? In today's crazy world many face unemployment or struggle to find work. Some of you might just have started your journey as productive adults and feel trapped you do not have the experience quite yet. This can be frustrating, but there is one thing that is more important than anything in this situation and that is to ask for help. This weekend my company went to Croatia for a conference as Claremont and returned as Zington. This is yet another step in our journey to strengthen our brand for expanding out in the world. It feels good to have a new name to go with our new profile on top of our strong core values. "We wanted a name that didn't mean anything but wasn't taken either, so we started looking. We are very pleased with the name and have had a transparency towards the employees during the process of the new name

Almost every day I see someone posting about stress related illness. I meet people who I see are close to hitting the wall and burning themselves out on a regular basis and it makes me sad. Why do we struggle with this and for what purpose? How can you come back once you hit the wall and what do you do to come back? 25 years ago I hit the wall. I burned myself out and spent a year in rehab. It was so bad that I once went to the store to buy milk, but had to stop halfway home and call a fri

Seven years ago I met this young developer named Ornamo. Pretty fresh out of school there was something about him that made me think that this guy will go places. Today I see that I was right and still his journey has just started. The thing that struck me back when we first met was his passion for code. It was not just something he did for work, it was something he really loved doing. He did code on his free time and every moment he looked at ways to improve. He was hungry and eager to bec
